Sawby4president;if you unbolt your canister and look up into the recess thats cast into all chevy small block (except the 265),there,s 2 cap screws i believe from memory HA! :rolleyes: 1/4-20 that hold the center bolt for the canister to the block.the adaptor kits for the spin-on setup have a base plate that uses this same location with longer bolts everything used to come in these kits. only thingyou had to add was the filter. available at most 'decent' auto stores S/K Speed Car Quest,Autozone,
