I think that we worry to much about hurting our engines and filtering our oil. Just throw a roll of toilet paper in your canister and forget about it. I have been doing this for over 20 years. When I had my 235 rebuilt, (the head was cracked), the crank, and lifters were fine. If we paid half of the attention to what we put in our own bodies, as to what we put into our engines, we'd be much better off.

All of this effort into getting a few more miles out of our ancient motors seems kinda silly to me. Most of our beloved trucks will be running long after we are dead. That reminds me. I have to make out my will... :p
