Permatex Super 300 was designed specifically to seal aviation gasoline. A TINY bit of it will seal a gas leak, and it never hardens. DO NOT use the poop-brown 3D Permatex brush-on liquid- - - -it's not the same stuff. Super 300 is almost black. Lots of it on Ebay.

Good stuff. It’s pretty easy for me to make a mess with the brush applicator while coating a gasket
Recently learned that I can be a little more precise dipping my finger (nitrile glove on) and spread it that way.
