I have a 1950 3100 truck with a 6 volt system, the cigarette lighter doesn't work. There is power to the socket but it doesn't heat up the elements on the lighter itself. So either the socket is bad or the lighter element is bad, or both.
My question is will a 12 volt cigarette lighter (complete) work.
