Reading this post reminds me of an old car I had . The hood was a different colour so I painted the hood with some rust paint as it was the same colour. I had the car right up to the wood stove to dry the paint almost melted the grill ,shell after waiting 2 hours it was not even close to dry so I had to go .I drive the car home in minus winter temperature and after a 15 minute drive I got home and the hood was dry .go figure
