It's possible to fit a dummy mechanical pump to the engine block and hide an electric pump under the cab. Run the fuel lines through the fake pump and enjoy the best of both worlds- - - -an original looking engine and a reliable fuel supply. Just wire in an oil pressure sensor to avoid flooding problems if the engine stalls.
