Also, if that carb has 2100s stamped in the side; perhaps you would consider sending it to Jon G. (the other Jon wink ) to sort it out for you.

The metering rod number you posted is a 216 rod. Sounds like a Frankencarb, but maybe it can be sorted cheaper than buying another.
