I cleaned the block up really well on that spot and looked at it in the light from several angles, and I still just see the 058S with maybe another 0 or O after the S. I took a picture of the only other numbers on the block that I haven't posted a picture of already. The picture is on the drivers side. So is there any info that can be taken from the 058S? I'll look more as I work on the engine and clean some more and make a post if I discover any new digits there.
