Rick, when I recieved the '35 the rear cross member was already partialy cut. They just put tabs off of the bellhousing of the original '35 and mounted it the what was left of the original cross member, about 3-4" out from the fram. Then they added a piece of 1/2" stock some 5" long to the bottom of the front under the timing chain cover. It worked for them. When I put the 235 in I will fabricate a solid plate and change the timing chain cover to convert.
