Here's my question. I really want to use my 36' torque tube 1.5 ton rear. The springs are in great shape and have seen little use. The brakes are newer, the bearings good, the gears are nice. All the tech sites here talk about engine/trans swaps for 1937 on up,mines a 36'.Does the torque tube spline on my truck match any newer year trans. that I could use with a full pressure 235. The 207 is a weak sister,( valve springs look like .030 wire
)and the motor I have is dead anyway. I've researched some but with the collective knowledge here, some one has to know where to direct me. I have 2 pressure 235's staring at me in my shop, i just need the mystery trans....Thanks for your help in any way..Rick
