Both the 47-51 Service Manual and 55 2nd Manual I have call for sealant around the pinch weld AND around the glass after roping in place. If your guy didn't use sealant, then he didn't finish the job
Kevin , I stumbled upon another "Glass Company", talked the owner through the entire scenario and he said what you said almost to the letter. He's going to come to the house Friday (tentative) and take a look at it and determine next steps. Thanks for the response, Kevin, I appreciate your input. BTW, I plan to to take pics and document his work if he will allow me to do so.
