I swapped a 216 for a 235 in my 1950 1 ton
I kept all the original accessories and even the manifolds
I swapped the harmonic balancer
Kept my old generator and water pump
Moved the distributor over
It all worked out just fine

You wouldn’t know the engine swapped
It looks like a 216 with the tiny bolts ontop of the valve cover
