After much reading and diagnosis it appears I am in need of a new generator. Currently, I believe the original Delco is on the 52 half ton. Would like to keep it but believe either field poles or armature is bad. I replaced brushes and polarized but no charge. Will not motor and engine dies when a battery lead is disconnected. So, any thoughts on which or where to buy a new one?
