Anyone seen filter gasket this thick? What filter do I really have?
I’ll start this by saying my existing filter top has a gasket that is 3/16” thick and that is 3x what comes with the Napa gold 1010 cartridge. I went thru the oil filter tech sticky and mine is smaller diameter than the s6 shown there….My filter is labeled a S6, but i know decals & paint are easy to get and install…

Existing Gasket: 4.2" OD 3.75" ID 3/16" tall 1/4" +-wide
Housing is 4-1/8 od x +-5"t
Uses Napa gold 1010 filter Cartridge has 1/2" id center hole 3-3/4 od x 3-3/4 t, gasket with filter fits lid perfect but is only 3/32 thick
