Tom - I have not used the Clifford manifold; I always bought Offys (they fit without modification).
With no offense meant, I would question the use of the progressive two-barrel Weber.
Should you go that way, I hope you have a local shop that stocks every spare part Weber ever made, the equipment to tune it, and the knowledge to use the equipment.
I personally would (and I realize most will question my stating this, after many of the posts I have made

About 35 years ago, I spent more than $1500. TRYING to make a Weber IDA (2-barre) run as well as a $5. Ford Autolite 2100 on a 2000 Ford. It could not be done, by me or the regional Weber gurus.
