I bought one of the $25 amazon universal harnesses (18 circuit?) last year from morbid curiousity. I expected to return it as trash, but I was curious and it ended up being very nice. Let me dig out the paperwork and see if it had any of the wire types markes on it.
By insepction the insulation was appropriate thickness, the wire was flexible and high-strand, the crimps at the fuse block were solid. I am intending to install it in my daughter's jeep this summer.
