Pictured below are three Bolters; left to right, Marty in Mesa, Lightholder's Dad and Skooter. Why? Well, Marty just purchased a '50 COE and is the process of making a car hauler out of it. Lightholder's Dad knows about COEs so he is trading some parts with Marty to help out. And then there is Scooter who's truck Shelley needs a bit more power so he is buying Marty's 261 to put in his truck. And Lightholder's Dad is trading Skooter a standard manifold set for the one on the 261 which has an updraft manifold set, in case his COE ever needs it. Confused yet?
The 1951 Seacrest green truck is Lightholder's 1/2 ton. This is the truck he drove from AZ to Kansas City and back in 2015 for the Stovebolt reunion.
For those of you who have been around awhile, you might remember Skooter, who drove Shelley ('52 1/2 ton) from Tennessee to the top of Alaska in the summer of 2000 and back.
