50/50 Simple-Green and water + old crockpot set on low heat for 20-30 minutes works really good for cleaning carb. No real need for nasty chemical cleans. I
hunt e-bay for NOS carb kits just for the hardware, but they have to be from the carb manufacturer, ACDelco or Carter, aftermarket kits are a gamble.
