Before I knew better, I bought one of those new copies of an Autolite carb for my '66 Mustang.

Big mistake! I should have rebuilt the original carb. The new one is typical Chinees garbage. Unfortunately the original carb was part of the deal as a "core".

Don't buy a fake Rochester. If you can't find a real Carter to rebuild, rebuild an original Rochester.
