| | | | Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 83 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2019 Posts: 83 | I just got into my 41 1/2 ton w/GMC 228. "Someone" put the motor in the truck with no front motor mount because it looks like the block is over 2" longer the the 216.They then moved moved & replaced the radiator (it is a MOPAR radiator). Has anyone done this swap? It appears that if we center the engine the exhaust will hit the steering box and then there is the problem of the making a front motor mount. Ideally I would love to find a good 216 to make the truck stock again. I will post in parts wanted this request.
We are just looking for the best way to make this truck drivable. | | |
