Ha, ha! You're right, John. I'm a little 'unhinged'.
I should add, if you decide to add heat to the mix for bending, we're not talking iron forge levels. It's hard to quantify and I'm no metallurgist. But by the time I set the torch down and grabbed the hinges with a wrench there was no real glow still visible. It just made bending with a wrench a little easier.
