I could potentially see that on the passenger side. That area on the driver side is where the filler tube comes in. Assuming I am envisioning what you mean correctly.
Summit has those cans in both black and red. The red ones are cheaper there, but out of stock.
I am tempted to just order one for my daughter's jeep since it needs lockable storage as well and a jerry can is *very* appropriate for that too.
