Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel - 16" x 6" Rim - 6 on 5-1/2 - Black Powder Coat / Item # AM20758
Wondering if anyone has used the rim listed above and if they'll fit on a 1st series 3100 without any tie-rod mods? I'm going to mount 215 85R 16 tires on my '53. Discount tire won't mount these tires on my original rims. I've read members posts stating they've mounted this size tire on original 4 1/2" rims with no problems so my plan is to mount the tires myself then have a local tire shop spin balance them. I'm already running tubeless bias ply tires, so my rims are good. Just checking my options and curious to see it the Dexstar wheel will work.
