handyandy If there is ANY plastic would use light coat of silicone ignition grease,which wont soften the plastic. Itt's also great to use on door latches of your house so they don't clash when it's cold and dry. Oh went to my 55 year go to junk yard,found a 7-wire guide turn signal switch installed it,didn't have all the functions so soaked it with tuner cleaner (get that at Frey Electronic store) fixed it right up is fine today. My electronics pal would spray a giant PC board with that (power off) then say OK lets eat dinner (noon) turn it back on take off and work !! He would look for trouble by watching for what we called lighting (broken solder joints) solder em back fix it !! I guess you know to use silicone grease on light bulbs to hold down corrosion and keep out salt water.
