A tiny bit of silicone grease on pivot points if you want to lubricate. Also if you can put a thin layer of silicone grease on the contact points it will keep the unit working fine for a very long time. Just don't use more than a bit. If you don't have that, wheel bearing grease (the kind made for disc brakes) is good...high temp, doesn't dry out and resists spreading. Good luck.
