First off, weren't all 52 and newer trucks equipped with Bendix style brakes?
2nd, are you using the complete 69 rearend or just the center section?
Anyhow, I know many of the 67-72 guys use the drums and brake assembly from 14 bolt rearends. I can't give the specifics, but I'm sure there is fabrication involved.
The early trucks had hat style drums, whereas the later ones were pressed on from the rear.
I've played around with HO52 and 14 bolt wheel hubs. They are interchangeable with the appropriate bearings.
Some of the 80's vans had hat style drums, and they weren't as deep as the 14 bolt drums. It may be possible to use something from a van as long as you get the backing plates and misc. Components.
Regardless of what you do, there is going to be some level of fabrication involved.
