This keeps the subjects separate for those to search later. I got the driveshaft(propeller shaft) removed. The formula is (1BFH + 1block wood x multiple swings). Now I have a frozen Oakie bushing. Probably rusted in a fair amount. I tried the bushing remover to start. Nope. Then I tried a long piece of gas pipe and pipe cap like a drift. Nope. Then with heat. Nope. Next thought is to cut through the Oakie and section it lengthwise. Have about 1/2 can of PB Blaster sprayed already. Pics show what I think is the length of the bushing. That’s where I have hit with the gas pipe. I believe I’m making contact with the bushing and not the taper of the torque tube. Is there a dowel pin that needs to be drilled out to remove the bushing?
Who else has run into this and what was your solution? I am open to all suggestions at this point.
As always, input and experience is much appreciated
