| | | | Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 2,191 Insomniac | | Insomniac Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 2,191 | I wanted to use my lighter socket for phone charging so I fused it at 5 amps and then I pulled the element from my lighter in case someone pushed it in. Instead of pulling the element from the lighter, I simply replaced it with a voltmeter like this: volt/temp meter
