I'm liking the gooseneck option a lot. For an 800 mile trip, I think having the electric brakes is a good thing (although a tow bar is still an option, if I get a decent sized tow vehicle). But I've completely struck out on finding a place to rent something like this; most of the equipment rental centers around here do not rent their trailers, which seemed odd to me. And I just don't see having enough future need to buy one.
