I'd appreciate any good ideas about transporting a 4100 I recently purchased (MO to PA), which is inoperative, but rolls. Based on yesterday's post I'd figure the weight with a steel flatbed and wood sides has to be in excess of 4500 lbs. which is more than the rental car carriers will take (typically 4,000 lbs, max); the weight and height also seem more than the broker car transporters will handle. I'm thinking maybe a heavy equipment hauler, but maybe there's a better way.
