simbalion Junior Member S Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 16 Dover, OH	Actually, this truck started out as a logging truck when it was new. As far as I can tell, there is no signs that the frame was stretched on this truck. Dad said the 1940 he had as his first big truck was the same length. Most township fire trucks around here were kinda short and the body was built locally just to fit that long wheelbase.
