The history of it was that the truck actualy started out as a logging truck and then was converted into a fire truck after the war. As you can see, the tank is gone and it is not much of a fire body. Current plans are to take the old fire apparatus off and then put on a 16 ft flatbed. Yes, with the long wheelbase, it can definately handle that. The worst part on the truck is the left fender so far. It will be coming home next Saturday if all goes right.
