There's got to be a reason it runs too hot. I have a 350 in my 1 1/2 ton that pushes a plow while hauling 4 tons of traction with an original 48 radiator and the 350's original fan clutch. It never runs hot. There must be a flow problem somewhere, feel the radiator from top to bottom after it's gotten warm, looking for cool spots.
