| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,440 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,440 | To admin and other users: The video link in the above post is embedded. It’s possible to edit that post so the video is not embedded
1. Edit by backlighting that web address and cutting. That will put the link in your computer clipboard. 2. Using the FULL EDITOR OPTION, put the cursor where you want the link to appear within the post. 3. Click the icon at the top of the page that looks like a WORLD WITH A CHAIN LINK. A special window will appear on your screen. 4. Erase the https:// characters in the text area so it appears blank. 5. With your cursor still in the box of the special window, hit the CTRL key and V key on your keyboard simultaneously. This will paste the web address into that box. 6. Click ENTER. The box will become blank again and you can type in the name you want to give your link, such as VIDEO LINK, or LINK TO VIDEO. 7. When the post is finished and signed, the link should appear on the screen for others to click and view, but the video will not be embedded. With the recent change in the site’s system videos are able to be posted. Site owners are working on trying to disable that feature. Members should refrain from the temptation to post videos. Links to videos are welcome. Thanksu
