I think the white walls are too wide! I've seen some that are even wider which appear to dominate the entire side of the tire and the appearance of the truck.

In 1962 I bought 4 new white walls for my '51 Chevy from a Chevron station where I worked (forgot the Chevron tire brand name). Here's what I think the width of a white wall should be. Picture taken in about 1965 in Laramie.
