A neighbor half a mile down the road used to have two potential projects sitting in a barn on his place- - - - -an early 1960's D-4 Cat dozer and a late 1940's COE with about a 12 foot flatbed on it. The cylinder head on the COE had been removed many years ago. and was sitting on the running board. The last time I had a conversation with him about the dozer, he said "Make me an offer". I'm almost afraid to name a price- - - -he might accept, and if you think buying stovebolt parts gets pricey- - - - - -that yellow Cat paint must be made of gold dust!
