| | | | Joined: Sep 2018 Posts: 48 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2018 Posts: 48 | I’m 77. My uncle used to have a 63 one ton step side pickup with split rims. We had to find places with a rack made of pipe so the guys could inflate those split rim tires. The split rims were notorious for blowing off when they were inflating the tire. I understand wanting keep the old trucks correct but safety first. I’d try to find an alternate to those split rims.
