They CANNOT be mounted on the wheels you have currently. The only tube type multi piece wheels that are dangerous and illegal to run are the Firestone RH-5 type that are joined together with a very narrow lip at the center of the wheel assembly. Wheels with a removable flange at the edge of the assembly come in various designs, and all of them are safe, assuming they're not rusty or damaged to the point that the locking sections don't mate properly. A professional tire shop that routinely works on heavy trucks and/or farm equipment will be able to evaluate your wheels and advise you on whether they are safe to use or should be replaced. Advice you get about wheels (including mine) from an internet chat room is worth exactly what it costs you to read it. However, some of us who post here have been working with multi-piece wheels and tube type tires for 50+ years, and we're still alive! Jerry
