I just chugged back up from the shop where I looked in the Chiltons and Motors Manuals and they show the the solenoid supplying battery voltage to that terminal in the "resistor bypass mode"...when the solenoid is drawn in (energized).
I'm not trying to one-up anyone, or be a smart arse, but I need to know if I was out to lunch when "starters 101" was in session. :o
