Got it, Harold. I have the outer facing down. Unless I am missing something… I believe the photos I posted with the mounted tire would be the correct carrier for the 1941+ half ton. And, from conversations I am having this style of carrier - carried through to 1953 maybe 1954. Thank you for the pin diagram.
