Yes, as designers and engineers we must keep an eye on costs, efficiency, machinability, manufacturability, materials, safety, serviceability, reliability and profit for the company. The team does include marketing, cost management and bosses to remind us not to get carried away while we are trying to make the thing work. Glad to be retired.
