Most of the headlights we get now draw more current than the originals. I turned on the lights on a truck I had before & ran a jumper wire from the bat. to the term on the lamp. The lights got considerably brighter. I went ahead & put relays on them & got brighter lights. I would do the same with the truck I have now but I want to preserve the originality. It still has the original sealed beam bulbs in it.
