As was said by others, cleanliness is everything… there should be no grease outside the seal that presses into the hub, centrifical force will throw it on your braking surfaces, it also hides what is going on in your photos. If you installed the bearings in the hub and tapped the seal into the back of the hub clean off all grease, there are no other parts needed or wanted going onto the axel.
