Just putting the loom back into the cab and now looking at the horn cable. I’ve replaced the upper mast bearing c/w new horn wire. At the moment theres about 4” of plastic coated horn cable poking out of the exit hole in the mast and then the reinforced part of the cable starts. I’m assuming its the reinforced part of the cable that should be retained by the cover plate over the exit hole - so I just feed the excess plastic coated cable back into the mast first & then fit the cover plate (as shown in the last photo)? Hopefully these photos show the situation. Thanks for your help as ever!
