I sold the truck but I replaced the rocker assembly and pushrods on a 235.
They were worn so badly it was difficult to adjust the gap accurately.
The new pushrods looked like the one you have without the indention or hole.
The rod's shaft diameter was slightly larger. It looked heftier.
No problems with working on solid lifters.
