Can you post a photo of your pushrods? None of the 235 or 261 had a hole in them. Some may have had an indentation, others a small groove. If you have a bent vavle like HRL seems to see in your photos, they you likely have a bent push rod. So check your push rods for that. Aftermarket push rods are avaiable and are better and stronger then the original push rods.
