I am getting closer to converting my 52 Chevy 1 ton pickup to a 2 ton with a Detroit Diesel 4-53T. That's 212 cubic inches, two stroke, 180 HP at 2,500 and 435 ft-lb at 1,500.
So far I have 13" disc brakes front and rear.
Power steering.
Hodroboosted brakes.
I am looking for a Roadranger RTO6610 transmission, overdrive with 10 speeds.
On the list later is Air conditioning, 5 window cab, aluminum flat bed with wood deck..... And the list goes on.
Anybody done something like this before?
Have any ideas?
