I'm replacing the ball bearings & races with tapered roller bearings. Does the spindle just need to be smoothed up and sharp sides of the groove eased or does it have to be perfect? I checked the inner bearing fit and it is snug now, before I start with emery paper. Just don't want to get too carried away if I don't need to.  | | |
