The steering box on the truck I'm working on is dry as a bone. I'm sure this is because all the oil leaked out. I seem to remember that this was a common problem, and I also seem to remember that I have seen the filler plug drilled for a grease fitting and the box filled with grease instead of oil. Does anyone have an opinion on this. Good Idea? Terrible Idea?
