I also run a multi piece rim with tubed radial tires. I actually went to AAA auto service and they balanced them. They did use the stick on weights which I then put epoxy over them to prevent them from loosening up and falling off. I also purchased Centramitic disks to help out with the balancing. Yes, overkill! Have no issues at all!
